About Mr. Rott

Mt. St Helens, WA

Mr. Rott graduated from Gonzaga University with a Bachelors of Science in Biology with minors in History and Classical Civilizations.  After working at Saint Mary's College of California for two years as an adviser to student government, activities, and clubs, he spent a year substitute teaching in Hawaii.  He graduated from Pacific University's Masters of Teaching program in June, 2010.  Mr. Rott enjoys traveling, reading, outdoor recreational activities, and adventures.  He has climbed Mt. Adams, spent a week in the backcountry of Alaska, backpacked through a majority of Europe and South East Asia, visited numerous national parks, run the Honolulu, Eugene, Portland, Chicago, New York, Berlin, London,  Boston Marathon and loves science! He is currently training for the Tokyo 2025 marathon and upcoming California Ironman 2025.
