Diversity of Life: A3.1 & A3.2In 2021 there were 2.13 million named species on the planet. Estimates of the true number of species range from 3 to 100 million; regardless of where the true value lies, this is a staggering level of diversity. Life exists in all environments of the planet with unique adaptations to survive a wide variety of habitats and niches. In this unit, the means of organizing life by classification and through the use of cladograms will be examined.
