Macromolecules: B1.1 & B1.2

Flatworld Knowledge
When we think of something as alive, we often think of the physical organisms or structures we can see with our naked eye or even a microscope.  Yet there is a vast array of molecules that are crucial to life, the building blocks of life.  These molecules provide energy, help reactions to occur, and even provide one of the most necessary components that nearly all forms of life need.  In this unit we will examine these molecules including proteins, carbohydrates and lipids.
